Brown Butter & Sage Fettuccine Pasta (Italy)
Ingredients:
8 oz (225g) pasta (such as fettuccine or pappardelle)
4 tbsp unsalted butter
10 fresh sage leaves
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
Add sage leaves and fry for about 30 seconds until crispy.
Toss in the cooked pasta, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
Serve with grated Parmesan on top.
