Japanese Soufflé Pancakes – Japan
These fluffy pancakes are light and airy, thanks to whipped egg whites.
Ingredients:
2 egg yolks
3 egg whites
¼ cup milk
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Whisk egg yolks, milk, flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg whites into the batter.
Heat a greased skillet over low heat and pour batter into round molds.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve with syrup, fruit, or whipped cream.
