Palestinian Roast Chicken with Sumac and Red Onions (Mussakhan)
Country of Origin: Palestine
Ingredients:
4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp ground sumac
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
1 red onion, thinly sliced
4 pieces of flatbread
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Rub chicken thighs with olive oil, sumac, cumin, and salt.
Place on a baking sheet with sliced red onions.
Roast for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve over warm flatbread.
