Tex-Mex Breakfast Tacos (USA - Texas)
Ingredients:
4 flour tortillas
4 large eggs
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 strips of bacon
1 tablespoon butter or oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings: salsa, avocado slices, chopped cilantro
Instructions:
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
In a bowl, whisk eggs with salt and pepper.
Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium-low heat.
Scramble eggs until cooked through but still soft.
Warm tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
Assemble tacos by layering scrambled eggs, bacon crumbles, and shredded cheese.
